Troop 24 participates in the annual Scouting For Food Project. On November 7, 2009 scouts will be dropping off bags at local residents to be filled with canned goods. The bags will be picked up on Saturday November 14, 2009 by scouts, delivered to a Second Harvest Food Bank processing center for redistributed to the area needing. 

Troop 24’s monthly Troop Service Project is to the children at Give Kids the World Kid's Village in Kissimmee. Adults and Scouts are always welcome and needed.

Troop 24 is committed to service to the greater Orlando community. Other past service projects include cleaning veteran's grave sites at the Greenwood Cemetery just in time for Memorial Day.
